Our Programs
1. Piano Rescue
Our flagship initiative, Piano Rescue, is at the heart of our mission. Whether a piano is being discarded at a landfill, left to deteriorate in an abandoned home, or donated to us in poor condition, this program ensures that no piano with potential is lost to time or neglect.
2. Talent Auditions
This program identifies and supports young pianists with exceptional talent who may lack financial resources or access to quality instruments. When a student is identified as both talented and economically disadvantaged, they become candidates for NAFPICON support - including the assignment of a donated piano.
3. Teach-to-Teach
Through Teach-to-Teach, experienced piano teachers within NAFPICON volunteer to mentor aspiring educators. The program includes internships and supervised teaching opportunities with actual children, providing a real-world foundation in both pedagogy and professional development.
4. NAFPICON Tech School
With the support of three of South Florida's most respected piano technicians, NAFPICON Tech School will offer career training in piano technology to recent piano performance graduates. This program preserves both the piano and the craft that keeps it alive.
5. Student Piano Recitals
One of NAFPICON's most treasured dreams is to acquire or rent a dedicated performance space. Once achieved, this venue will be offered free of charge to NAFPICON-registered teachers for their student recitals, creating a supportive stage for student musicians.
